Data Scientist and a big fan of AI competitions: I have participated in more than 30 individual or team competitions on Kaggle.com.

I actively contribute to the open-source Machine Learning framework boosterama.io. Co-organizer of Kaggle Days Meetup Spain. I have spoken at several AI events at Google Campus and at the BBVA Innovation Center (Madrid), and I was the MC for the AI track at CodeMotion Madrid.

These competitions have allowed me to change the scene every few months and face very diverse problems (2D and 3D medical images, microscope images, GPS coordinates, tabular data, etc.), and have motivated me to build solutions for regression, optimization, classification, segmentation, localization and even ML-algorithm security problems; as well as to study algorithms and everything related to AI.

Art

Neural Networks are used to generate images, text and music. It is also possible to introspect a trained network and get an intuition about "how" a network trained on a particular dataset thinks. The artist and anthropologist Andrés Pachón hired me to implement his artwork Abstract Machine. This work was exhibited at the ARCO fair, and later acquired by the Reina Sofía Museum for its collection.
